About Us
Protecting Vulnerable Residents and Helping Families Find Answers
We built this practice around a simple belief: when an elderly or dependent adult is harmed in a place that was supposed to keep them safe, their family deserves to know what happened. Our role is to help San Diego families find those answers.

Why This Work Matters to Us
Nursing home residents are among the most vulnerable people in our community. Many cannot advocate for themselves, and some cannot even describe what is happening to them. When something goes wrong, the people who notice are usually family members, visiting and picking up on small changes that don't add up.
We focus on this area of law because those families often need someone to help them make sense of what they're seeing. A new wound, a sudden decline, an unexplained fall. None of these come with an explanation attached. Figuring out whether the care provided fell short takes patience, attention, and a willingness to dig into medical detail.
That is the work we do. We are not here to assume the worst about every facility or every injury. We are here to look carefully, to ask the right questions, and to help families understand whether the circumstances deserve a closer look.
What guides us
The Principles Behind Our Work
Accountability
When vulnerable residents are harmed, someone should be answerable for what happened.
Dignity
Every resident deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of age or condition.
Careful Investigation
We look closely at the records and the care provided rather than jumping to conclusions.
Clear Communication
Families deserve plain explanations of what we're seeing and what it may mean.
Compassion
We understand this is your family, and we treat every conversation accordingly.
Client Education
We help families understand their options so they can make informed decisions.
